Tea tasting practice
Tea Sommelier Academy was
established in 2002 and is supported by Sri Lanka Tea Board and certain
specialized members of Colombo Tea Traders.
The course is conducted by the Fresh Tea Lab, an associate. It is an
intensive course of study during which the participants will also gain
very valuable practical knowledge by visit to, Tea Estate and Tea
Factory Sri Lanka Tea Board of Technical Department, Colombo Tea
Auction, Tea Brokers and Tea Traders and of course Tea Tasting as
well.
Recommend for the person who aim at becoming a Tea
Sommelier.
The training received will greatly enhance the performance of the
persons who work in the tea serving cafes and also the stores selling
tea and enable them to further promote the consumption of Black
Tea. As the end of the course all participants will receive a
certificate which will be certified by Fresh Tea Lab as well as the Sri
Lanka Tea Board.
